Man due in court over Mullingar cannabis seizure

Gardaí said earlier this week that 450 cannabis plants were seized during a search on two houses in Mullingar.

A 28-YEAR-OLD man is due in court today in connection with the garda seizure of cannabis plants in Mullingar on Monday.

The man is due before Athlone District Court this morning.

Gardaí said that they uncovered “sophisticated cultivation processes in operation” during the search of two houses in Ardleigh Park and Clonmore Heights in Mullingar.

A total of 450 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €180,000 were seized in the operation.
