Man due in court after crèche worker stabbed yesterday

The woman’s condition is described as critical but stable.

A MAN IN his 40s is due to appear in court this morning after a woman was stabbed in Dublin city centre yesterday morning.

The woman, also in her 40s, is now in a critical but stable condition in hospital after the stabbing at the stairwell of School Street flat complex.

Neighbours believe the woman may have been on her way to work at a nearby crèche when she was attacked.

The man is due before Dublin District Court later this morning charged in connection with the investigation.
