Garda appeal after man found injured in Ballinasloe

The man was found with head injuries and is currently being treated in hospital.

GARDAÍ IN BALLINASLOE are appealing for witnesses after a man was found injured on a road.

The man was found lying on Duggan Avenue at 5.33am on Sunday morning. He was found with serious head injuries and taken to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.

He has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. The man is 35 years old, gardaí said.

Gardaí in Ballinasloe are appealing for anyone with information, or who was in the Dunloe St, Society St or Duggan Avenue areas between the hours of 1.30am and 5.30am and saw anything of interest to contact them on 090 9631890.
