Man found dead in Limerick hotel

A postmortem is expected to be carried out on the man’s body, but Gardaí say they don’t think the death is suspicious.

GARDAÍ SAY A man’s body has been found in a Limerick hotel, but that they’re not treating the death as suspicious at the moment.

Local Gardaí and emergency services were called to the hotel in Castletroy in the early hours of this morning.

A Garda spokesperson told TheJournal.ie that while the man’s death doesn’t appear to be suspicious, they are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The State Pathologist has been notified and a post mortem is expected to be carried out later today, reports RTÉ.
