Man in hospital after he was beaten by three men who broke into his house

It happened in the early hours of this morning.

A MAN WAS attacked by three men who broke into his home in Cork in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí say that the man aged in his mid 30s was in bed when the men entered his house.

It happened at Buttevant at around 2am.

He was removed to Mercy Hospital by ambulance where he is now being treated for his injuries.

Gardai at Charleville are investigating – no arrests have yet been made.
