Man in 30s killed in Co Kerry car accident

The man’s car left the road at Farranfore at around 6:20am this morning; traffic diversions have been put in place.

A MAN IN HIS 30S has been killed in a road accident in Co Kerry this morning.

The accident occurred on the N23 Farranfore-to-Castleisland road at Laharn, just outside Farranfore, at around 6:20am.

No other cars were involved in the incident, in which the driver’s car left the road.

The road has been closed pending a forensic examination and traffic diversions are in place.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call Killarney Garda Station at (064) 71160, or the Garda confidential line at 1800 666 111.
