Man (70s) dies following four-vehicle collision in Wexford this evening

The incident took place on the N25, near Orristown, at 5.15pm.

A MAN IN his 70s has died following a collision, involving four vehicles, near Killinick, Co Wexford this evening.

The incident took place at around 5.15pm today on the N25, near Orristown. 

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene, where the man was pronounced dead. His body has been removed and brought to University Hospital Waterford, where a post mortem examination will take place.

No other injuries have been reported, following the incident, gardaí said. The road will remain partially closed overnight as forensic investigators are due to carry out technical examinations tomorrow morning.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward. Any road users with camera footage and who were travelling on the N25 between 4.30pm and 5.30pm this evening are asked to make any videos available to them.
