Shane Rossiter murder: Man, 29, due in court today

The man is one of three who were arrested last Tuesday, and will appear before Clonmel District Court at lunchtime.

A 29-YEAR-OLD MAN is due in court this afternoon charged in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old in Co Tipperary in October.

Shane Rossiter was shot dead at his home in the village of Golden at 6:45am on the morning of Wednesday 17 October.

The 29-year-old was one of three men arrested in connection with the shooting on Tuesday, and will appear before a special sitting of Clonmel District Court today at 12:30pm.

The other two men arrested last week remain in Garda custody at various stations in the county.

Seven people were arrested in connection with the murder last Monday, all of whom have since been released.
