Man in his 20s killed in single-vehicle crash in Co Kerry

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

A MAN IN his 20s has been killed in a single-vehicle collision at Keel, Ballyheigue, Co Kerry. 

Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of the crash, which occurred at around 7.20 this morning.

The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene and no other injuries have been reported.

The scene is currently undergoing technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, a Garda spokesperson said, adding that the road is closed with local diversions in place.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time of the incident between 6.30am and 7.30am today are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
