Pedestrian killed after being hit by car in Donegal

It happened in the early hours of this morning.

A MAN HAS died after being hit by a car in Donegal in the early hours of this morning.

The pedestrian in his late 60s was pronounced dead at the scene and his body remains at scene.

It happened at 2:50 this morning at McClays corner on the Letterkenny side of Stranolar.

The road remains closed to facilitate a forensic collision investigation and local diversions are in place.
