Man killed in Co Limerick crash

A second man who was injured in the single vehicle collision is being treated at Mid-Western Regional Hospital.

A 24-YEAR-OLD MAN HAS died after the vehicle he was driving crashed in Co Limerick this morning.

A second man who was travelling as a passenger was taken to Mid-Western Regional Hospital and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

The collision occurred at Curraghroche, Galbally at around 2.30am today and the road has been closed for a forensic examination of the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact Bruff Garda Station on 061 382940 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
