Man killed in Co Meath crash

One person was fatally injured in the single-vehicle crash this afternoon.

ONE MAN HAS died following a car crash on the Trim Road near Ballivor, Co Meath, at around 4pm this afternoon.

The man, aged in his late 30s, was fatally injured in the single-vehicle crash. He has been taken to Navan General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The road has been closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place. AA Roadwatch reports that the road is not expected to reopen until at least 10pm.
