Man killed in Mayo crash

The 38-year-old man was killed in a two-car collision on the N17.

A 38-YEAR-OLD man has been killed in a road crash in Co. Mayo.

The man died in a two-car collision on the N17 at Lisduff on the Ballindine to Claremorris Road at around 4.50pm yesterday.

A 34-year-old woman who was a passenger in the car and the 33-year-old driver of the other car were taken to Castlebar General Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Gardaí are asking for witnesses to the crash to contact them at Claremorris Garda Station on 094 9372080 or on the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
