GARDAÍ IN TIPPERARY are seeking witnesses to a fatal crash between a truck and a car that happened near a Bulmers factory last night.
The man in his 50s was driving the car and was killed when the crash occurred on the N24 outside Clonmel Town at about 11pm yesterday.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and was brought to South Tipperary General Hospital where a full post-mortem examination is due to take place.
The driver of the truck was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have been examining the scene of the crash today and have now made an appeal for witnesses.
Gardaí from Clonmel Garda Station want to speak to anyone who was travelling the N24 Killaloan Lower outside Clonmel at about 11pm last night.
