Man killed in Kildare house fire

He was taken to Naas General Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A 52-YEAR-OLD man has died in a house fire in Kildare.

It happened on the Dublin Road in Naas.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Glenville Terrace just before 2am this morning.

It’s understood that the man was found unconscious.

Gardaí say they are not treating the fire as suspicious.
