Man killed on main Cork-Dublin rail line

A MAN HAS BEEN KILLED on the main railway line between Cork and Dublin this afternoon. The accident took place shortly after 2pm, at the village of Elton near the Charleville station, RTÉ reports. Rail services were suspended almost immediately afterwards and were out of action for some time, with Iarnród Eireann saying services were operating regularly again at 4:45pm.
