Man killed in Tipperary farming accident

It’s believed the man was working underneath a 4×4 vehicle when it fell on him.

A MAN IN his 70s has died in an accident on a farm in Co Tipperary.

It happened at Ballybrenogue, Cullen, around 8km to the northwest of Tipperary town at around 4pm yesterday afternoon.

It’s believed the man was working underneath a 4×4 vehicle when it fell on him.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body taken to University Hospital Waterford.

Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have begun investigations.
