Man receives life sentence for Gaynor murder

A 23-year-old man has been convicted for fatally shooting Daniel Gaynor in front of his girlfriend and two children in Dublin last year.

A MAN HAS been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Daniel Gaynor last year.

Keith Wilson, 23, of Cremona Road in Ballyfermot, was found guilty of fatally shooting Gaynor in August 2010.

Gaynor had been walking on St Helena’s Road in Finglas, Dublin, with his girlfriend and two children at the time.

Gaynor’s girlfriend said in her victim impact statement that she and the two children were still receiving counselling after witnessing his death, RTÉ reports.
