Man in serious condition after Dundalk crash this morning

Gardai are appealing for witnesses of the crash to come forward.

A MAN HAS been seriously injured after a road accident in Dundalk early this morning.

The car he was driving hit a ditch on the Southern Link Road at around 1:45am.

The man, aged in his late 30s, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where he is in a serious condition.

The section of the road is now closed as Gardaí carry out a technical examination of the scene

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact the Gardai at Dundalk on 042-9388400 the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
