Man seriously injured after he was hit by a car in Dublin City centre

The man was hit during rush-hour traffic in the capital.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for witnesses after a man was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Dublin’s city centre.

At around 5pm this evening, a man in his 20s, was struck by a car at the junction of Leeson St. and Mespil Road.

He was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent’s Hospital and the driver of the car was uninjured.

The scene is curently preserved pending a technical examination and diversions are in place.
