Body of young man found in Dublin house this afternoon

Gardaí are investigating all of the circumstances and say that enquiries are ongoing.

THE BODY OF a young man has been found at a house in Dublin this afternoon.

Gardaí and emergency services were called to a house on Woodville Avenue in Lucan when the alarm was raised shortly before 3pm.

The body of the man, who is understood to be in his early 20s, remains at the scene which is preserved for forensic and technical examination.

TheJournal.ie understands that the man was shot.

The office of the State Pathologist has been notified.

Gardaí are investigating all of the circumstances and say that enquiries are ongoing.
