Man shot in attack on his home

Gang tied up man in house on Wicklow-Carlow border.

A MAN HAS BEEN injured in a shooting in a house on the Wicklow-Carlow border.

The man, in his 30s, was shot in the arm before being tied up by a gang of up to six people. He is recovering from his injuries at Naas General Hospital.

He is believed to have been alone in the house when the gang broke in at around 10pm last night.

He managed to free himself after being bound, and raised the alarm. Gardaí have launched an investigation into the incident.
