Man's body discovered in Limerick city centre

The body was found this morning at an apartment on Wickham Street.

A MAN’S BODY has been discovered at an apartment in Limerick city centre.

A garda investigation has been launched and the death is being treated as suspicious.

The body was found at around 11am today and gardaí say the man is believed to be in his late 50s or early 60s.

The scene on Wickham Street has been sealed off pending a forensic examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.
