Man's body found in public toilet in Cork city

A post-mortem is due to be carried out later today.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING after the discovery of a man’s body in Cork city.

The body of a man in his 40s was found in the public toilets on Grand Parade at about 1am today.

The man was taken to Mercy University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Gardaí from Anglesea Street are investigating the death. The scene is currently preserved and a post-mortem is due to be carried out later today.
