Man's body found in suspicious circumstances in garage

The 32-year-old’s body was found yesterday afternoon.

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING the circumstances surrounding the death of a 32-year-old man whose body was found in a garage in Co Tyrone yesterday afternoon.

The man was found just after 1pm on Thursday in a garage in the Moor Road area of Coalisland, Dungannon.

The death is being treated as suspicious and a post-mortem examination will take place to determine the cause.

Detective Chief Inspector Lee McNevison, who is leading the enquiry, said: “If anyone saw anything unusual in the Moor Road area in recent days, we would like them to contact detectives in Dungannon by calling the non-emergency number 101.

“Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

Comments have been closed as the matter is now before the courts.
