Man's body found on Co Galway beach

Gardaí are appealing for help in identifying the man, whose body was found on Thursday in Lettermullen.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for assistance in identifying the remains of a man found in Co Galway on Thursday.

The man’s body was found on the beach at Tra Dhireain Huston by a member of the public at around 2.40pm.

It may have been in the water for a number of days.

The man is described as being approximately 6′ 2” in height and of medium to strong build. He was wearing a dark blue and white checked Ralph Lauren shirt in a large size, Primark-made blue jeans, size 10 grey and blue Nike runners and grey or black socks.

The body has been taken to University Hospital Galway for a full post-mortem.
