Two weeks ago, a land, air and sea search was launched after a fisherman was reported to have been swept into the sea in Co Clare.

It’s understood the 40-year-old man was fishing in the Pulleen Bay near Doonbeg. Heavy coastal fog in the area in the following days hampered search efforts for the missing man.
