Glenveagh Homes

Live by the sea in these stylish new family homes and townhouses launching this weekend

Marina Village is just a short stroll from the heart of Greystones.

IF LIVING BY the sea while being within easy access of Dublin city centre is a key feature on your house-hunting wish list, Marina Village in Greystones, Co Wicklow is worth a place on your radar.

Part of the exclusive new development of family homes and apartments by the coast, two new house styles at Marina Village are being released this weekend.

First up is The Sandpiper, a new style of three-bedroom mid and end-of-terrace townhouses. Spanning 1,261 sq ft, each property benefits from a courtyard garden to the rear. Inside, an abundance of natural light fills each room thanks to large windows throughout, with glass doors leading to the back garden.

For added convenience, kitchens come complete with a number of high quality appliances, including a De Dietrich oven and microwave, and a Whirlpool dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

If you’re a first time property buyer, you’re in luck as these houses are eligible for the Help to Buy scheme. Fancy having a look? The show house for the townhouses is open this weekend, June 8 and 9, from 10am-1pm at 33 The Strand.

Also being released this weekend is a new style of spacious four/five bedroom semi-detached family homes. A stand-out feature, these properties boast views across the Irish Sea and Bray Head. The design is similar to that of the existing Tuskar show home, but with the added advantage of an extended kitchen to the rear.

Coming to the market is Burford (priced from €990,000), Valentia (priced from €1,050,000), and The Rowan (starting at €1,150,000). Each home is designed to make the most of its beautiful location, with high ceilings and picture windows on the ground floor adding to the feeling of spaciousness.

Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a walk-in wardrobe, while a family room up here has the potential to be used as a fifth bedroom. This room features a balcony with views across the Irish Sea, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Head along this weekend to 1 The Shore from 10am-1pm to see the new styles available off plans from the Tuskar show house.

Ideally located at Greystones Harbour, Marina Village strikes the balance of coastal living while still having easy access to the heart of the capital. Greystones village is just a short walk from the development, where there are several schools, restaurants and outdoor activities to enjoy, while the DART from Greystones train station can have you at Grand Canal Dock within 45 minutes. The nearby M50 and recently improved N11 make travelling to Dublin city centre and beyond a breeze.
