Woman charged over 2009 murder case

The woman will appear in court later today in connection with the investigation into the alleged murder of Maurice Martin in Finglas four years ago.

A WOMAN WILL appear in court in Dublin later today in connection with the investigation into the alleged murder of Maurice Martin in the north of the city nearly four years ago.

The woman in her 20s will appear before Blanchardstown District Court later this morning charged in relation to the death of Maurice Martin in June 2009.

Martin, 21, was repeatedly stabbed during a fight in Finglas on the night of 11 June 2009 after being at a house party in the area.

A passing taxi driver raised the alarm early on the morning of 12 June and Martin was later found dead at the junction of Cardiffsbridge Road and Tolka Valley Road in Finglas.
