Man in his 60s dies in early morning crash in Co Mayo

Gardaí want to hear from people who may have been in the area before 7am this morning.

A MAN IN his 60s has died in a single car crash in Co Mayo.

It happened at Ballinasmalla, Claremorris, this morning.

Gardaí say the crash was reported at 7am. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Claremorris Garda Station on 094 9372080.

They’re particularly keen to speak to anyone who was in the area in the hours between 12.30am and 7am this morning.
