3 things we’ll be keeping an eye on

  • Dáil: Leaders’ Questions — Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore will be hopping up at 12pm to field questions from the chamber.
  • Committees: Public Accounts Committee — PAC will be discussing a report from the Auditor General on Medical Cards at 10am in Room 1You can see that report here.
  • Dáil: Minister for Agriculture — Simon Coveney is up first, bright and early at 9.30am, where he will be taking questions on his portfolio.

Everything else that’s happening in the Dáil

  • Exactly the same proceedings as yesterday afternoon, the debate on a bill which deals with lowering income limits for medical cards for the over 70s continues at 10.45am, to be followed by the Local Government Bill 2013.
  • After that it’s Order of Business at 12.21pm, which includes a motion, without debate, on the Arms Trade Treaty.
  • Any Topical Issues troubling our TDs will be heard at 4.42pm.
