Four to appear before court in connection with massive drug seizure

Another five men are still being questioned,

FOUR MEN ARE to appear before court later this morning charged in connection with a seizure of drugs, firearms, and ammunition.

Five are still being questioned by gardaí in relation to the incident.

Drugs worth an estimated €5 million were discovered during the raids in Meath and Dublin yesterday.

A total of nine men were arrested and are being held at garda stations across the north and west sides of Dublin.

Gardaí searched a large number of homes, premises and vehicles as part of the sting operation, which had been planned for some time and which took place over two days.

Six firearms, as well as quantities of ecstasy tables, cannabis resin, and cannabis herb were all seized.
