Two men arrested after guns and ammunition found in Finglas raid

The search was part of an intelligence led operation and investigations are ongoing.

TWO MEN AGED 18 and 44 were arrested this morning after guns and ammunition were found in Finglas.

Members of the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau carried out a number of searches in the Finglas area.

Gardaí seized three firearms, ammunition and a quantity of powder like substance and tablets which are all subject to analysis.

The two men are currently being held at Finglas and Ballymun Garda Stations.

The search was part of an intelligence led operation and investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí say these operations use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks.
