Two men (30s) pronounced dead at the scene of three-vehicle crash in Co Meath

Two other men have been brought to hospital with injuries.

TWO MEN (30S) HAVE been pronounced dead at the scene of a three-vehicle road traffic collision involving motorcycles at Bellaney, Oldcastle in Co Meath.

The collision occurred at approximately 4:40pm, according to a Garda spokesperson.

Two other men have been hospitalised with injuries. One man has been brought to hospital for treatment for serious injuries. One man has been brought to hospital for injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening at this time.

The R195 road at Bellaney, between Oldcastle and Castlepollard, is closed for technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, and local diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the R195 road at Bellaney, Oldcastle, Co. Meath, between 4pm and 5pm on Sunday 28th July 2024, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
