Hooded raiders hold staff at gunpoint in Dublin supermarket

The three men left the scene on foot with a quantity of cash.

SUPERMARKET STAFF WERE held a gunpoint last night during a robbery in Dublin city centre.

Three men wearing hoods and scarves entered the premises on Cork Street shortly before 9pm last night.

At least three staff were in the store at the time, and were threatened by the raiders.

The men left the store on foot with a quantity of cash, turning left onto Cameron Street.

It is understood the men kicked through glass doors to exit the premises, and also could have gained access to the store’s safe.

Investigating gardaí visited the scene today and have been provided with CCTV footage of the incident.
