Two men ask woman the time, then steal her rings

When she checked her watch, they grabbed her by the wrists.

POLICE IN WEST Belfast are appealing for witnesses to a street robbery that took place last night.

A 22-year-old woman was walking on Pembrook Loop Road at around 9.30pm yesterday when two men approached her and asked for the time.

When she checked her watch, both men grabbed her by the wrists and one took rings off her hand.

The pair then ran off in the direction of Old Colin.

Both robbers are described as wearing dark clothing with their faces covered and both spoke with local accents.

The PSNI has urged anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact them.
