Sideline cut: Michael Lowry pitched in for suits for the Tipperary hurlers

The Independent TD was charged with three counts of filing false tax returns earlier this year.

THE TIPPERARY GAA panel are looking smart in their new suits and none other than Independent TD Michael Lowry is to thank.

Lowry put up a picture of himself with the Tipperary hurling panel on his Twitter account this evening, describing how he was “very happy to be in a position to co-sponsor the suits”.

The Tipperary North TD was charged with three counts relating to the alleged filing of incorrect tax returns earlier this year.

The Tipperary hurling team will take on Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Hurling Final on Sunday.
