GARDAÍ HAVE SAID that Mill Street Garda Station has had to be closed, due to flooding.

Heavy rain yesteday in parts of the country caused flooding in some areas, though much of this had receded by today.

This evening, gardaí advised members of the public in the area to attend Salthill Garda Station for all policing matters.
