Watch a "mini-tornado" whip through a Kildare hay field

Not something you see every day.

THIS IS SOMETHING you don’t see every day, a “mini tornado” whipping through an Irish field.

The wind was spotted by reader Carmel Henry this afternoon in Athy.

It’s unknown if any cows were thrown across the field, but the kids in the video seem to be having fun, so we’ll assume all was well.

Tornado

The circular wind is fairly common across different parts of the world, not just areas which get tornadoes.

It’s still pretty cool, though.
