Poll: Would you vote Miriam O'Callaghan for president?

Speculation is mounting again that the RTÉ presenter could make a bid for the Áras.

THE SPOTLIGHT IS being shone yet again on Miriam O’Callaghan’s plans to run for president.

The Irish Independent reports that, in contrast to the position taken in 2011, RTÉ isn’t confirming nor denying the presenter’s plans. O’Callaghan herself also won’t be drawn on the subject.

One TD believes she has an ‘obligation’ to inform viewers of her intentions.

If O’Callaghan did run, would you like to see her end up in Áras an Uachtaráin? Would you vote for Miriam O’Callaghan if she ran in the next presidential election?

Poll Results:

No (14199)
Yes (5442)
I don't know (1523)
