Gardaí are particularly appealing to any taxi driver who may have picked up Diarmuid Twomey.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for help tracing a 31-year-old man who was been missing since yesterday morning.

Diarmuid Twomey was last seen at 3am yesterday near Fairhill, Gurranabraher in Cork. His mobile phone was later found outside a house at Ballynahina at about 11.30am.

Diarmuid is described as being 6′ in height, of stocky build with dark brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a blue check shirt, beige chinos and brown runners.

Gardaí said they are concerned for the man’s safety and are appealing to anyone with information – particularly any taxi driver who may have picked up a man matching his description – to contact them at Gurranabraher garda station on 021 4946200.
