Therapy dog Elka found by The Vikings film crew

She went missing in Wicklow on Saturday evening.

A THERAPY DOG named Elka has been found after she went missing on Saturday evening.

Her owner told TheJournal.ie that he lost her at Luggala, Sally Gap, county Wicklow.

However, The Vikings film crew recovered Elka at Lough Tay beach and returned her today.

He explained that she is very valuable due to her training as a therapy dog.

She looks after patients as an emotional support animal.

The gardaí sent out an appeal for the dog on social media and have now thanked the public for their efforts.
