Cork man missing since Friday found safe and well

A CORK MAN who was missing since Friday has been found safe and well according to gardaí.

John O’Sullivan’s family started a Facebook page and went on local radio in an attempt to get in contact with him.

Gardaí had also appealed for information but have now said that he has been found safe.

Both gardaí and the family have thanked the public for their assistance.

    He has been found safe and well in Clonakilty. His family are in their way to be with him.

    For those that don’t know. On FB at the moment people, mainly teenagers, are ‘being challenged’ by friends (similar to the ice bucket challenge) to ‘go missing’ from home for 72 hours. Their parents, generally unaware naturally panic and the Gardai are called and involved and obvious resources are wasted. Not to mention that in some cases there are kids/teenagers out on the streets unprotected and vulnerable.
