Have you seen this missing woman? Police believe she may be in Ireland

Katie Grout left her home in England yesterday morning.

POLICE ARE APPEALING for the public’s help in tracing the whereabouts of a woman who they believe may be travelling to Ireland.

Katie Grout left her home in the town of Berwick in Northumbria, England at around 7am yesterday morning.

The 23-year-old was driving her silver Vauxhall Corsa which has the car registration DY61 HJJ. Investigating officers say she may now be travelling to Ireland.

She is described as:

  • 5 feet 5″ tall
  • very slim build
  • shoulder length brown hair
  • with a small scar under her chin.

She was wearing black and white checked trousers, a black long sleeved top and grey boots.

Police added that they are concerned for her welfare.

Officers are appealing for Katie to make contact with them, or anyone who recognises her to call police straightaway.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 ext 69191 quoting log number 251 of 08/10/15.
