So that’s why this card that reader Aisling Doyle received from her 7-year-old daughter Abigail is possibly the sweetest Mother’s Day card you’ll see this weekend.
The card reads:
To mamI love you so much especially like when Sadhbh bit me on the eye and you made me feal a lode better. And you spend a lot of money on cloves [clothes] for me.
Thank you for all the nice things for me. I love you and can not wait to go see One Direction in May with you xxx
Aisling told us that she thinks the card is beautiful, especially since the biting incident with Abigail’s little sister happened three years ago but she obviously still remembers.
Aisling said she isn’t a big fan of Mother’s Day. “Raising such amazing people like this is all the celebration and gift needed for the hard work,” she said.
Awww.
Don’t worry, Mother’s Day isn’t until tomorrow so there’s still time to pick up something thoughtful for your mam – or even make your own card. You know she’ll appreciate it.
