Motorcyclist dies in Carlow road crash

Gardaí are investigating the fatal incident at Kernanstown earlier this evening.

A MOTORCYCLIST HAS died after he was fatally injured in a road collision in Co Carlow this evening.

A 38-year-old man was involved in a collision with a sports utility vehicle on the N80 Tullow Road at Kernanstown shortly before 7.30pm this evening.

Gardaí say the road is closed to facilitate a forensic examination and diversions are in place.

The road closure is expected to end shortly and Gardaí continue their investigations.
