Motorcyclist dies in Wexford road collision

The man was involved in a collision with a car on the N11 this afternoon.

A MAN HAS died in a road collision in Wexford today.

The motorcyclist, who was in his 40s, was involved in a collision with a car on the N11 between Enniscorthy and Wexford town.

The incident occurred this afternoon and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body was removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post mortem will be carried out.

The road at the scene of crash has re-opened following an examination by garda forensic collision investigators.

The man killed today is the 14th motorcyclist to die in Irish roads so far this year.
