One dead in traffic collision on N7 westbound

Gardaí are asking anybody with information or fotage of the incident to come forward.

A MAN HAS been pronounced dead following a collision on the N7 westbound between Junctions 4 and 5 in Co Dublin.

The collision occured between a car and a truck at around 9AM. A passenger in the car, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car has been treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The road is currently closed while a full forensic examination takes place. Local diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward. They are also asking anyone with footage of the incident to make it available.
