There are major tailbacks on the way in to Dublin on the N7 this morning

There are also knock on delays in the surrounding areas.

MOTORISTS ON THE N7 Naas Road on their way into Dublin are reporting delays of up to 90 minutes this morning, following an earlier crash.

A collision just before the M50 interchange blocking the right and middle lanes has now been cleared – but there are still significant delays.

AA Roadwatch, in an update at 9.30am, said it was very busy ”from J8 Johnstown to J4 Rathcoole and again from J2 Kingswood to the Red Cow Interchange”.

It’s also very busy in surrounding areas as a result too, according to the traffic monitoring website, including on the New Nangor Rd into Clondalkin, through Rathcoole and on approaches to Saggart Cross.
