Price Comparison: What can I buy in Co Meath for under €500k?

From a detached four-bed in Stamullen to a six-bed terrace in Navan.

CO MEATH IS continuing to be a top choice when it comes to commuter counties. But it’s not just its proximity to Dublin city that makes it a great option. Affordability and larger homes with lots of privacy are just two more reasons why the county is popular with house hunters.

This week, we’ve found four large homes in Co Meath that are all under the €500,000 mark – from a detached four-bed in Stamullen to a six-bed terrace in Navan. 

Five-bed, semi-detached, Bettystown – €405,000

3 The Garden is a 186 m² sized family home that was built in 2007 and is set over three floors. The rooms comprise an entrance hall, large living room, open plan kitchen/dining/family room, storage room and guest bathroom. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, one of which is en suite. The others share the family bathroom.

The back garden faces west and is home to a steel shed with electricity. This development called Whitefield Manor sits close to a sandy beach and has good access to Dublin and Drogheda making it a great option for commuters.

Four-bed, detached, Stamullen – €495,000

This roomy four-bed is a walk from Stamullen village. Light and airy with a great internal flow, the home has been well looked after. There’s a garden to the back where there is also parking. Gardens to the front make this a lovely and safe family home with great countryside views. 

For those working regularly between Dublin and Belfast, this is a great option.

Four-bed, detached, Dunshaughlin – €495,000

If it’s a quiet family life you’re after check out this four-bedder located on a cul-de-sac Dunshaughlin village. An extension to the original build has allowed for a larger kitchen and a bedroom downstairs. With a handy utility room and plenty of storage there’s space for a growing family. The rooms inside also comprise a hallway, an open plan kitchen and dining room along with a sitting room and downstairs toilet. Double French doors lead to the back garden. 

All amenities in Dunshauglin are within easy reach, including schools, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and sports facilities.

Six-bed, detached, Navan – €450,000

This spacious dormer bungalow in busy Navan has a floor area of 206.63. The spaces inside include a large open plan kitchen and dining area that leads to a sun room overlooking the back garden. Two bedrooms sit the ground floor along with what is now a home office. The remaining hree bedrooms are upstairs along with a shower room and a large bathroom.
